A message for my legs

Posted on: 8 February 2012

Legs. You've been pretty supportive of me so far in my life. You've grown with me, you've held me up when i've needed it, and you've gone the extra mile when it was demanded of you. Now, though, now I really need a big favour.

I know I've been taking the piss a bit recently with all the running, but I need you to just stay with me for the next 10 weeks. I'm afraid it's going to get harder before it gets easier.

After the 15th April, I'll be real nice to you. The only sport I'll do is swimming. You like swimming.

P.S. If you can, have a word with the ankles. I know they're pretty much angry all the time and don't like anybody else, but just keep 'em sweet, they're the most likely to freak out and ruin it. But remember, there's no "I" in team. We've gotta work together to do this.

Sincerely,

Sam
